I have raised four wonderful children, three sons and a daughter.  My experiences of birth have taught me that the memories one gets from birth last a lifetime.  I believe that every mother is entitled to a positive birth experience, building good memories and self-empowering feelings about who she is.  I consider it a privilege to help women and their partners have the best possible birth experience.

Theresa's big heart and generous spirit drew her to become a foster mother to the many children blessed to spend time with her over the years.  Seeing first-hand the importance of the mother-infant bond in the critical first months of life led Theresa to become a birth doula. Through her service she hopes to make a positive impact on that relationship in it's most critical moment- birth.
