I was just thinking about how fast the summer is flying by and how depending on our circumstances our perception of time passing changes. Some days feel like they last a year while some years flash by like a single day. For instance, our recent vacation flew by like the final lap at Nascar and between getting ready for the trip, traveling, and getting back on track afterwords, the whole month just disappeared! Yet when I was pregnant with twins every day seemed to last an eternity. I was not one of those lucky women who glowed (unless green counts) or felt remotely good during pregnancy. Then my sweet bundles arrived and time slowed even more. Sleep deprivation slowed time to the point every hour felt like agony. I wasn't sure I was going to survive. Then I blinked, so it seems, and my sweet bundles just graduated from high school and will be heading off to college in a few short weeks. I can't believe how fast the years have flown by!
So to you moms out there who are struggling to make it through each day as the fatigue wears you down and you wonder if you can keep going on... Don't Blink! It gets better and before you know it they'll be all grown up.
God Bless
